The Meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away.

Treating myself with compassion allows me to treat others well.

Happiness is not selfish, supporting my happiness allows me to share my happiness with others.

I am a worthy of love.

I can not choose what happens to me, but I can choose how I react.

I am a good person. I am healing. I have great capacity for love and affection.

Anger has nothing to offer me.

I am patient. I have excellent self control.

My actions determine who I am.

I am not defined by how others treat me.

I choose my friends carefully. I deserve to surround myself with people that respect and believe in me.

I have the right to say no. No one is entitled to my time and talent and energy.

I am in charge of my life, my decisions are my own to make.

I choose to treat myself with consideration and respect.

Now is important. Tomorrow is not here and yesterday cannot be changed.

I forgive myself, i forgive others for their limitations.

People will hurt me, People will disappoint me. People will be difficult and impossible and unpredictable. I accept that I cannot control other people, but I can choose how I associate with them.

People are a percentage, a mix of good and bad. I must accept the contradiction. No person will ever treat me exactly as I wish to be treated.

I am loving, kind and generous.

Treating others with impeccable kindness and compassion helps me be compassionate with myself.

We are dying fast or slow, we have only moments. Joy and hilarity are acts of both defiance and celebration.

I can bring the funny.

I live with courage and conviction and passion and love.

I deserve happiness. I can choose contentment.

I am in charge of my life. I say yes or no. I make choices. I point the ship where I want to sail. No one makes my choices for me.

I can defend my perspectives.

I can express my opinions diplomatically, I can communicate more effectively by listening and responding gently.

I do not have to be frustrated. I can make new options for myself.

compassion, curiosity, wonder and awe will help me.

By learning to appreciate and work with other people better, I am contributing to my own happiness. Escapisim is not helping me.

I am in control of my happiness and contentment.

I am rewiring my brain for a more optimal life experience.

I cannot change the past. I can accept what happened learn from my mistakes and put the burden down. I have been decieved, lied to betrayed, stolen from and treated poorly at times. This will never stop happening, but I can choose to shrug of the damage rather than carry it.

I can forgive, it is easier to forgive than to carry the burden of anger and hostility.

I can disagree without being disagreeable. I can always leave the table.

I am patient and kind.

I treat otbers as i wish to be treated.

I can be damaged but i can heal and grow stronger. My vulnerability is not a liability.
